Once you reach level 50 and find your way around the world of Arkesia, you will find that there is a lot to do. The Guardian Raids are an exciting element - essentially battles against a huge boss.

The first leader of the guardian raid you face is Urunil, a giant armored bear. You can find out how to defeat him in our guide to Lost Ark Urunil.

Lost Urunil Ark Tactic
Urunil is a heavily armored bear with a wide range of attacks. Here is a list of all of his skills.

Fireball - Urunil creates a fireball in front of him and fires it forward or at him.
Double strike - Urunil attacks twice with his claws.
Double Swipe Slam - Urunil attacks twice with his claws and then hits the ground in front of him.
Attack - Urunil charges towards the player (if he is angry, he follows this action 3 blows).
Dash - Urunil jumps on a player (when angry he knocks all players over).
Earthquake - Urunil strikes the ground, unleashing a powerful ranged attack that slows the player's movement (can only be cast when unaffected by rage).

lost ark urunil tactics

Urunil is the first Guardian boss you meet in Lost Ark.

As you can see, he has a diverse arsenal of weapons, but combat is one of the easiest in the game. Standing behind him you can dodge most of his attacks and his attacks are slow so you should be able to get out of the way if he aims at you.

Bringing the Damage ability into this battle is important, however. This designation is at the bottom of some skills, which means that they can weaken the opponent (usually by knocking them to the ground). When Urunil is angry (he gives off a yellow light) it is important to cause harm to keep him from getting angry.

If allowed to use anger for a long time, Urunil earthquake will work. This harms the player and slows down their movements, causing them to flee. As long as you remember to dodge attacks and use debilitating skills to stop the anger, you shouldn't have any problems defeating the bear!

Best Urunil team
Urunil can be tried out with 1-4 players and, unlike most MMOs, has no specific career requirements. Some people are better than others, but you don't need a tank or a healer as most attacks are easy to dodge.

Still, it's important to offer courses that offer damaging skills and can easily apply them.
